Former Chelsea midfielder Oscar open to Stamford Bridge return

Shanghai SIPG midfielder Oscar says that he intends to leave the Chinese Super League within the next three years, with a Premier League return the most likely option.

Brazilian midfielder Oscar has revealed that he wants to return to the Premier League before the age of 30 and is hopeful of rejoining Chelsea.

The 26-year-old departed Stamford Bridge in a big-money move to the Chinese Super League in January, costing Shanghai SIPG around £60m to sign.

Oscar has been in inspired form this term, playing a direct part in nine goals in 17 appearances for the Red Eagles, but he is already eyeing a Chelsea reunion further down the line.

"Yes, I would go back. I'm still young, I'm 26 years old," he told Premier League Brasil. "Who knows, in two or three years to return to the Premier League... I will be very happy. And preferably to Chelsea, who opened the doors for me to return."

Oscar won the Premier League title with Chelsea in 2015 and received a second winner's medal after playing nine times last season.
