Victor Moses agent denies Chelsea deal

Moses agent denies Chelsea deal

The agent of Wigan Athletic striker Victor Moses has denied rumours that Chelsea are on the verge of signing the player.

Reports had suggested that the 21-year-old was due to join Chelsea within a week for a fee believed to be around £9m.

However, Moses's agent Neil Fewings has claimed that these reports are false, with Wigan thought to be holding out for more money.

"Reports that a £9m deal has been agreed between Chelsea and Wigan are not true," said Fewings.

Moses joined Wigan for £2.5m in January 2010, scoring nine goals in 78 appearances for the club in that time.
