AC Milan plotting move for Chelsea full-back Emerson Palmieri?

AC Milan have reportedly targeted Emerson Palmieri and have already held talks with the Chelsea defender's agent.

The 24-year-old has recently ousted Marcos Alonso as the Blues' regular left-back, starting each of their last three Premier League matches.

Emerson could be heading for the Stamford Bridge exit, however, as Calciomercato claims that his representative met with Rossoneri chiefs earlier this week to discuss a switch to San Siro.

Milan are prepared to spend big to restructure their squad and a £22m bid is being readied for the summer.

However, Chelsea are expected to knock back the offer if they fail to overturn their two-window transfer ban that will prevent them from bringing in a replacement.
