Marko Marin leaves Chelsea for Olympiacos

Chelsea outcast Marko Marin joins Olympiacos on a permanent transfer having spent the past three seasons on various loan spells.

Chelsea midfielder Marko Marin has left the club to join Greek side Olympiacos, according to reports.

The 27-year-old joined the Blues on a five-year deal in 2012, but failed to work his way into the first team at Stamford Bridge.

The former Germany international made just six appearances for the club before being sent out on loan to Sevilla, Fiorentina, Anderlecht and Trabzonspor over the past three seasons.

German news outlet Sport1 has now confirmed that he has left Chelsea on a permanent basis and will ply his trade in his seventh different league in the past five years.

Marin was on the field for just 143 Premier League minutes during his time with Chelsea.
