Manchester City have reportedly told Raheem Sterling that they will consider accepting a bid for the Englishman.
Sterling has been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium, with the 27-year-old concerned about his game time after starting 23 of 38 league games last season.
The England international is set to enter the final year of his Man City contract, and although the Premier League champions are hopeful that Sterling will agree to a new contract, the club are wary that he could leave on a free transfer next summer.
According to The Sun, the Citizens have informed Sterling that they would consider any offer that is put forward, with Chelsea reportedly set to offer £50m for the attacker.
Thomas Tuchel is keen to sign the former Liverpool player, with the Chelsea boss allegedly promising Sterling a key role at Stamford Bridge.
The England international has scored 131 goals in 339 appearances for City, helping his side win four Premier League trophies.
