Gael Kakuta makes Rayo Vallecano loan switch

Chelsea winger Gael Kakuta has joined Spanish outfit Rayo Vallecano on a season-long loan.

The 23-year-old, who joined the Blues from Lens in 2007, has spent the last three-and-a-half years on loan at an array of clubs.

A statement on Chelsea's official website confirmed the deal, adding that everyone at the club wishes the youngster all the best for the duration of the campaign.

Vallecano finished 12th in La Liga last season, and recently captured another Premier League player in Swansea City's Alejandro Pozuelo.
