Inter Milan have reportedly set their sights on securing a deal for Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud.
With Antonio Conte keen to strengthen his squad in January, Giroud is one of a number of names who have been linked with a switch to San Siro.
However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Conte has now decided that he wants to seal a reunion with the Frenchman, with whom he worked during his time at Stamford Bridge.
Should a deal materialise, the France international would be left to compete with Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez and Alexis Sanchez for a starting role in attack.
Inter are allegedly prepared to part ways with versatile attacker Matteo Politano in order to free up space for the arrival of Giroud.
Due to Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi being higher in the pecking order, Chelsea are happy to sell the frontman in January.
