Kevin de Bruyne admits he could leave on loan

Belgian international Kevin de Bruyne says that he could leave Chelsea on loan in January.

Kevin de Bruyne has admitted that he could leave Chelsea on loan in the January transfer window.

The Belgian international impressed during a loan spell at Werder Bremen last season, but has struggled to command a regular spot in the Blues XI in the new campaign.

When questioned on whether he could leave Stamford Bridge on loan in January, the midfielder answered "maybe" to the gathering media.

"Maybe. But Chelsea is my employer and they decide my future. I don't have to talk about what could happen in January now, as it's only November. A lot can still happen," he told reporters while on international duty.

"I feel quite good. The fact that I'm playing at Chelsea is proof I always performed well. The manager told me in July that I had to stay, so I'm not a difficult person. I've no regrets."

A number of clubs are believed to be monitoring developments.
