Thibaut Courtois has insisted that he would not be prepared to return to Chelsea unless he was guaranteed first-team football.
The 21-year-old has emerged into one of the best keeper in world football since joining Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid on loan in 2011.
As it stands, the Belgian will return to Stamford Bridge next summer, but he has hinted that he would be prepared to remain in Spain.
"I want to play. I don't want to be sitting on the bench. At Atletico I feel really good and they have allowed me to play in the Champions League," he told reporters at a press conference. "We won't know anything new until around March."
Courtois now believes that he is among the top five goalkeepers in world football.
