Chelsea approach PSG over signing Gregory van der Wiel?

Chelsea have reportedly approached Paris Saint-Germain to discuss the possibility of signing right-back Gregory van der Wiel.

Earlier this month, the Dutchman was quoted as saying that the French champions want him to leave this summer.

However, the latest reports have claimed that PSG are prepared to offer the defender a new deal.

According to Le Parisien, Chelsea have been attracted to the player and approached the Ligue 1 side regarding a potential transfer, but the Premier League champions were knocked back in their efforts.

Manchester United have also been linked to Van der Wiel.
