Chelsea 'plan £90 million spending spree'

Roman Abramovich is reportedly preparing to spend up to £90 million as part of his summer shake-up at Stamford Bridge.

The Chelsea squad is being reshaped around Fernando Torres - signed to the club in January for £50 million - under Guus Hiddink, who is expected to be confirmed as Carlo Ancelotti's replacement later this week.

The Daily Mail claims that Abramovich is interested in Spurs midfielder Luka Modric, who would cost around £30 million; 19-year-old Brazilian striker Neymar, at a cost of £20 million; and Chilean winger Alexis Sanchez, for £30 million.

It has also been reported that Hiddink is keen to thwart Man Utd's £30 million bid for Internazionale's Wesley Sneijder.
