Chelsea lining up move for Zaha?

Chelsea will reportedly keep a close eye on the situation of Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha ahead of next summer's transfer window.

The Ivory Coast international was tipped for a move elsewhere over the summer, with Everton reportedly launching a bid of up to £70m.

However, due to the club selling Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United for £50m, chairman Steve Parish refused to countenance a move away because it was not necessary on a financial level.

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea will look to make a bid for the Palace talisman when the summer transfer window opens.

The Blues are currently awaiting the verdict of an appeal submitted to the Court of Arbitration regarding a year-long transfer ban that started in the summer.

Arsenal were also widely reported to have made a concerted effort to sign Zaha back in June, only for the South London club to bat away their £40m offer.
