Chelsea 'keep eye on Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alphonse Areola'

Chelsea are reportedly considering a move for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alphonse Areola.

Chelsea are reportedly keeping track of Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alphonse Areola due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Thibaut Courtois.

The Blues' current number one has been linked to Real Madrid a handful of times over the past few months, but at the moment, there is no movement.

The Premier League champions replaced second-choice keeper Asmir Begovic with Willy Caballero, who left Manchester City at the end of last season.

Now, according to Transfermarketweb, Areola is a target, but only if Courtois abandons Chelsea for Spain.

Napoli and Valencia are also believed to be interested in the PSG keeper.
