Chelsea, Inter Milan chase Chilean youngster

Chelsea have joined Inter Milan in the race to sign Chilean youngster Igor Lichnovsky, according to the player's agent.

The 17-year-old centre-back currently plies his trade for Universidad de Chile, having made his debut in November 2011.

"After Chelsea's interest, Inter Milan are now seriously interested in Lichnovsky," agent Rodrigo Robles told Chilean newspaper La Tercera.

"I'm in continuous contact with the Italian club and they have asked me what price he would be available for."

Lichnovsky has made four league appearances this season.
