Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud has reportedly emerged as a potential option for Barcelona.
With Luis Suarez having been ruled out until May with a knee injury, the Catalan giants are keen to bring in a new frontman, either on a short or long-term basis.
According to Sport, Barcelona may attempt to take advantage of Giroud's situation at Chelsea in the coming days.
As a result of being third in the pecking order and having less than six months remaining on his contract, the 33-year-old will be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge for the right price.
The France international had appeared destined to move to Inter Milan, only for the Serie A title challengers to consider alternatives to the World Cup winner.
While no official approach has been made, the report suggests that Giroud is high on Quique Setien's shortlist.
