Atletico Madrid 'in Andre Schurrle talks'

Atletico Madrid have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Chelsea forward Andre Schurrle.

The 23-year-old joined the Blues last summer from Bayer Leverkusen for a reported fee of £18m.

He played 30 times in the Premier League last season, but half of those appearances came from the bench.

The German international has previously claimed that he is happy at Chelsea, but according to the Daily Mail, Atletico have opened talks with his club over a possible transfer.

Schurrle scored three goals for his country as they won the World Cup this summer.
