Ashley Cole is reportedly a target for Spanish champions Real Madrid.
The England left-back has been on the radar of Madrid manager Jose Mourinho for some time and Los Blancos are now ready to snap the 31-year-old up on a free transfer next summer, according to The Mirror.
The former Arsenal man could be tempted to move on from English football following his dispute with the Football Association over his involvement in the John Terry racism case.
Mourinho managed Cole during his time at Chelsea and sees him as an ideal solution to his full-back problems after Marcelo was sidelined with a broken metatarsal bone.
