Agent: 'Branislav Ivanovic staying put'

Branislav Ivanovic's agent has insisted that his client is keen to see out his contract with Chelsea.

The Serbian defender has recently been linked with a switch to Italian side Napoli, as well as Spanish outfit Barcelona.

However, agent Vlado Borozan has revealed that the 28-year-old is hoping to remain at Stamford Bridge until at least 2016.

"Ivanovic extended his contract until 2016 and wants to meet the terms of that deal," Borozan told Tuttosport.

"Chelsea wants to keep him and he has no plans to leave the club, and I don't know if his wages would be within the economic reach of Napoli."

Ivanovic joined the Blues in 2008 from Lokomotiv Moscow.
