Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte names captain John Terry on the bench for the Premier League clash with Leicester City.

Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has named captain John Terry on the bench for the Premier League clash with Leicester City.

Terry had been expected to be named in the starting lineup after recovering from injury but Conte has decided to stick with the backline which began the 2-0 victory over Hull City.

There is just one change to the team from that fixture, with Pedro replacing Willian in the final third to link up with Eden Hazard and Diego Costa.

As for Leicester, Claudio Ranieri has made the decision to leave Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani on the bench for the trip to Stamford Bridge.

With Ranieri looking to rotate players ahead of their Champions League clash with Copenhagen in midweek, he has brought in both Jeffrey Schlupp and Ahmed Musa.

Chelsea: Courtois, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill, Moses, Matic, Kante, Alonso, Pedro, Hazard, Costa
Subs: Begovic, Terry, Aina, Chalobah, Loftus-Cheek, Solanke, Batshuayi

Leicester City: Schmeichel, Hernandez, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs, Schlupp, Drinkwater, Amartey, Albrighton, Musa, Vardy
Subs: Zieler, Simpson, King, Gray, Mahrez, Slimani, Ulloa
