Team News: Diego Costa, Eden Hazard start for Chelsea in Barcelona friendly

Diego Costa and Eden Hazard lead the Chelsea attack in their pre-season friendly clash with Barcelona.

Chelsea have named a strong lineup for their pre-season friendly meeting with Barcelona, handing starts to Diego Costa and Eden Hazard.

There is no room in the team for summer signing Radamel Falcao, but Oscar, Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas will face the Spanish champions.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho has handed a start to Kurt Zouma at the back and rested John Terry, while Brazilian youngster Kenedy will provide support for Costa up front.

Barcelona have named an attacking lineup, with Luis Suarez, Sandro and Munir El-Hadaddi starting up front.

Lionel Messi and Neymar will sit this one out due to their Copa America contributions, but Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets will feature from the off.

Barcelona: Ter Stegen, Rakitic, Sergio, Suarez, Bartra, Douglas, Munir, Sandro, Adriano, Mathieu, Gumbau

Chelsea: Courtois, Ivanovic, Zouma, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Fabregas, Matic, Kenedy, Oscar, Hazard, Diego Costa
