Team News: Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas start for Chelsea

Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas start for Chelsea for the visit of West Bromwich Albion to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has the luxury of naming Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas in his first XI for the visit of West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.

The duo were forced to pull out of Spain duty during the international break due to injury.

However, both return today as the high-flying Blues look to consolidate their place at the top of the Premier League table.

Mourinho makes just one change in total from the 2-1 win away to Liverpool before the two-week break, with Willian replacing compatriot Ramires in midfield.

Meanwhile, West Brom boss Alan Irvine names four changes to his starting lineup from the 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle United last time out.

Claudio Yacob comes in for the injured Sebastien Pocognoli in defence, while Youssouf Mulumbu, James Morrison and Victor Anichebe make way for Chris Baird, Craig Gardner and Stephane Sessegnon.

Chelsea XI: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; D Costa

West Bromwich Albion XI: Foster; Wisdom, Dawson, Lescott, Yacob; Baird, Gardner, Brunt, Dorrans; Sessegnon; Berahino
