Marcos Alonso returns from suspension to start for Chelsea in Sunday's Premier League meeting with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has made one change to his starting XI for Sunday's Premier League meeting with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

Marcos Alonso returns from a three-match ban to replace Emerson Palmieri in the only alteration from the Blues' 1-0 win over Swansea City last week.

Olivier Giroud maintains his place up front ahead of Alvaro Morata, while midfielder Danny Drinkwater has overcome a groin problem but does not make the squad.

Liverpool also make just one change from their last match, the 4-2 defeat at Roma which nonetheless put the Reds into the final of the Champions League.

Nathaniel Clyne comes in for his first Premier League start of the season as Jordan Henderson drops to the bench, while James Milner captains the side.
