Antonio Conte has insisted that he would happily spend more time managing in the Premier League, despite a difficult second season with Chelsea.
A year on from lifting the top-flight crown with a then-record number of wins, the former Juventus and Italy boss is now fighting for his future at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea require victory over Newcastle United on the final day, combined with a Brighton & Hove Albion win against Liverpool, to finish in the top four, which may determine Conte's fate regardless of how his side performs in the FA Cup final next week.
Asked if he now dislikes English football, however, the Italian told reporters: "No. No. Absolutely not. Why? Why? I think this league is great, the toughest league in the world.
"To compete in this league, with so many teams and so many clubs very strong, it's always a great chance you have. No, absolutely not. I'm very happy. I'm very happy for last season.
"I'm very happy for this season. You learn in this job. If you are clever you continue to learn and improve yourself, to try and be better in the future."
Chelsea claimed just 37 points on home soil this season, compared to 51 from a possible 57 in 2016-17.
