Saturday's Premier League predictions including Chelsea vs. Wolves

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Chelsea vs. Wolves.

After finally getting off the mark with a win this week, Leicester City now attempt haul themselves out of the Premier League's bottom three with victory over Bournemouth on Saturday.

The Foxes visit the Vitality Stadium following a 4-0 thumping of local rivals Nottingham Forest, while the hosts have embarked on a four-game unbeaten run that sees them sitting in mid-table, some five points clear of their opponents.

We say: Bournemouth 1-2 Leicester City

Bournemouth's 100th Premier League home game could end in disappointment, as the main ingredient missing for Leicester this term has been belief.

Now that confidence is now partly restored, the visitors can make their greater individual quality count and compensate for defensive deficiencies.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Chelsea vs. Wolves (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Chelsea will be aiming to make it three straight wins in all competitions when they continue their Premier League campaign at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues recorded a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace in the league last weekend, while Wolves suffered a 2-0 loss at West Ham United, which cost Bruno Lage his job as head coach.

We say: Chelsea 2-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolves are short on confidence at the moment but are still full of quality and could certainly make this an uncomfortable match for Chelsea.

The Blues are not quite in full flow, but the midweek European win would have helped them enormously, and we are backing Potter's side to secure another victory here.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Man City vs. Southampton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Manchester City could momentarily climb to the top of the Premier League table when they welcome Southampton to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Citizens currently sit in second place and only one point behind leaders Arsenal – who face Liverpool on Sunday – while the Saints are just one point above the relegation zone in 16th place.

We say: Manchester City 4-0 Southampton

Man City may have struggled to breach Southampton's backline the last time that they locked horns on home soil, but the Citizens now possess a goal-hungry striker in the form of Haaland who is showing no signs of slowing down.

With Guardiola set to name a stronger side to the one selected in midweek, we expect the reigning champions to ease to victory against the Saints.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 3.5 goals.

Newcastle vs. Brentford (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Newcastle United will be looking to claim back-to-back Premier League victories when they welcome Brentford to St James' Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Bees, meanwhile, will be seeking to avoid a third successive top-flight game without a win.

We say: Newcastle United 2-1 Brentford

The last five meetings between these two sides at St James' Park have seen a total of 24 goals scored at an average of 4.8 per match, and there could be plenty more goalmouth action in the North-East this weekend.

Both Newcastle and Brentford will fancy their chances of success, but we can see the hosts following up last weekend's victory with another three points on Saturday in front of their own fans.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Brighton vs. Spurs (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday evening when they make the trip to the Amex to take on Brighton & Hove Albion.

Spurs suffered a 3-1 loss to Arsenal in the North London derby last weekend, while Brighton played out a pulsating 3-3 draw with Liverpool in Roberto De Zerbi's first game at the helm.

We say: Brighton & Hove Albion 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur

Brighton are a very tough proposition at the moment, and they have picked up seven points from their three home league games this term.

Tottenham, on the other hand, have won just one of their four top-flight fixtures on their travels, and we can see the two sides playing out an entertaining draw here.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
