How Chelsea could line up against Wolverhampton Wanderers

Chelsea will be without the services of Wesley Fofana against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon with the knee injury that he picked up against AC Milan in the Champions League.

Fofana was seen leaving Stamford Bridge on crutches due to the issue that he suffered in the first half of Wednesday's fixture, and initial reports have suggested that he will be out for at least a month.

As a result, there could be a spot in the back three for Trevoh Chalobah, while head coach Graham Potter is likely to make a couple more changes from the clash with Milan.

Indeed, Potter could freshen his midfield with the introduction of Jorginho, while Marc Cucurella could come in on the left, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ben Chilwell potentially dropping to the bench.

Kai Havertz might have to accept a spot on the bench once again, though, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang set to lead the line with support from Mason Mount and Raheem Sterling.

Conor Gallagher is pushing for a starting role in midfield, but N'Golo Kante will again be missing, as the club are carefully monitoring his fitness due to a recent thigh problem.

Kepa Arrizabalaga appears to have moved past Edouard Mendy to become the team's number one goalkeeper in recent matches, and the Spaniard should retain his starting role here.

Cesar Azpilicueta could be considered for a start against Wolves, while Armando Broja will also be hoping to be given the opportunity to impress on Saturday afternoon, but both players should ultimately be on the bench once again.

Chelsea possible starting lineup: Kepa; Chalobah, T Silva, Koulibaly; James, Jorginho, Kovacic, Cucurella; Sterling, Aubameyang, Mount
