Kurt Zouma wants to emulate John Terry at Chelsea

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has claimed that John Terry is "an example" for him to follow at the club.

The 19-year-old joined the Blues in January from Saint-Etienne, but has remained with the Ligue 1 side on loan until the end of the season.

Zouma believes that former England international Terry has set high standards during his Chelsea career.

"Terry? [He's an] emblematic Chelsea player, a great defender, physical, technical, who scores goals too," Zouma told Canal+.

"An example for me in my position."

Zouma has made 18 appearances for Saint-Etienne this season.
