Ray Wilkins hails Juan Cuadrado capture

Ray Wilkins believes that former club Chelsea have made a great signing in the form of Columbian Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina.

Former Chelsea midfielder Ray Wilkins believes that his old club have made a great signing in the form of Juan Cuadrado.

The Colombian international completed his move to Stamford Bridge from Fiorentina on Monday, signing a deal until 2019.

Wilkins believes that the 26-year-old will be a success for the West Londoners.

"Cuadrado was outstanding in the World Cup for Colombia and he's been outstanding for Fiorentina," he told talkSPORT.

"Hopefully he can bring that flair to a Chelsea side which is showing some good form this year."

Mohamed Salah has joined Fiorentina on loan as part of the deal that brings Cuadrado to the Premier League.
