Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo confirms that John Terry will have an MRI scan on his knee after being forced off during Sunday's draw with Liverpool.

Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has confirmed that captain John Terry will have an MRI scan on his knee after he was forced off during Sunday's 1-1 draw with Liverpool.

The defender, who gave his side the lead at Stamford Bridge, was stretchered off towards the end of the first half following a collision with Reds striker Luis Suarez.

"We'll have to have an MRI scan on John Terry on Monday to fully understand the extent of the injury," said Di Matteo.

Suarez cancelled out Terry's opener during the second half to earn Liverpool a share of the points.
