Chelsea skipper John Terry: 'I've got another two seasons left in me'

Chelsea defender John Terry reveals that he wants to keep playing in the Premier League with the Blues for at least another two seasons.

Chelsea defender John Terry has outlined his desire to play in the Premier League for another two seasons at least.

The 34-year-old was one of Jose Mourinho's men's standout performers in their triumph in the top flight last season, as well as the Capital One Cup.

Terry has revealed that he is determined to keep playing at a high level for another two years, after admitting that he has no wish to follow in Steven Gerrard's footsteps to leave the Premier League.

He told reporters: "I am 35 at Christmas. So hopefully I'll be around for another couple of years. I realise one day that my career will come to an end so I want to give everything these next few years.

"People like me and Steven want to play of course. That is our natural instincts. When you play your whole career, it's hard."

Terry has won four Premier League titles along with the Champions League in his 17 years with Chelsea.
