Chelsea captain John Terry has said that he plans to continue playing "for a few more years".
The 34-year-old played every minute in Chelsea's successful Premier League campaign and signed a new contract at Stamford Bridge in March.
"I don't know what my fitness is down to, but the manager and the staff played a big part in the way we train," Terry told reporters.
"I feel I've also benefited from the couple days rest during the international breaks. So the manager and staff deserve a lot of credit, and me also for staying fit and keeping my form and place in the side.
"I am hoping that is going to continue for a few more years yet. I am hoping to finish my career at Chelsea and I hope I can do that under this manager."
Terry is currently in Australia ahead of Chelsea's post-season friendly against Sydney FC on Tuesday.
