Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger claims that he and his teammates have been making 'too many mistakes' in their recent games.

Defender Antonio Rudiger has acknowledged that Chelsea have been making 'too many mistakes' in their recent matches.

Since the turn of the year, Chelsea have recorded four successive draws in all competitions with the Blues failing to score in any of their last three contests, the most recent fixture being Saturday's stalemate with Leicester City.

The West Londoners now sit in fourth place in the Premier League standings, but Rudiger feels that he and his teammates can change their fortunes with 'one pivotal moment'.

The 24-year-old told the club's official website: "Honestly, I prefer that we win this game and concede a goal, at least we would have the three points.

"Of course we are disappointed with the performance and I think we are lucky that Leicester did not score in the first half. We cannot be happy with the last few weeks. It is difficult weeks for everyone and there are lots of mistakes that we are doing."

"It is like this sometimes. You just need that one moment."

Rudiger could feature when Chelsea play host to Norwich City in their FA Cup third-round replay on Wednesday night.
