Ramires given one-match ban

Chelsea midfielder Ramires will miss his side's Boxing Day game at home to Fulham after picking up a one-match ban.

The 24-year-old was given his fifth yellow card of the season for a challenge on Tottenham Hotspur's Gareth Bale during their match at White Hart Lane.

The Brazilian will be available for the Blues' New Year's Eve clash at home to Aston Villa.

Ramires moved to Stamford Bridge from Portuguese side Benfica in summer 2010.
