Baba Rahman 'frustrated' by lack of game time at Chelsea

Rahman 'frustrated' by Chelsea spell

Baba Rahman has admitted that it is "frustrating" to be sitting on the sidelines at Chelsea.

The left-back joined the Blues from Augsburg in the summer, but has struggled to break into the first team at Stamford Bridge.

Cesar Azpilicueta currently stands in the way of Rahman, who has insisted that he is desperate to earn more minutes.

"Of course it's frustrating for any footballer to sit in the stands - it's not something I've experienced a lot of," Rahman told Bild.

"As a young player, of course, you have to get used to such a big club and a world-class league. For me the first half of the season was pretty okay but in the second half I really want to play more. Chelsea are one of the best clubs in the world."

Bahman has played nine games in total for Chelsea.
