Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho: 'We want to destroy teams'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists that he wants to "destroy" teams this season following his side's opening Premier League win over Hull City.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that his players will try to kill off teams when they have the chance.

The former Real Madrid boss began his second era as Blues coach with a victory on Sunday when his side hit two past Hull City on the opening day of the season.

"We want to win matches but when you have the chance to destroy, beat a team by three or four of five, we have to do it because when somebody has the chance to do it to you, they don't forgive you," Mourinho told the club's official website.

"If somebody feels they can do it to us they will do it so if we have the chance we have to do it. When you can show you are much better you have to show it because when you are in trouble they smash you."

Chelsea continue their campaign with a clash against Aston Villa this evening.
