Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that it would be "very difficult" for his side to clinch the Premier League and Champions League trophy this season.
The Blues are currently at the top of the league table with a seven-point lead over second-placed Liverpool.
The West London outfit are also one game away from the quarter-finals of the Champions League as they prepare to take on Galatasaray next week following their 1-1 draw in the first leg.
When asked in Friday's press conference if his squad can cope with the commitments of both competitions, Mourinho said: "It depends what you mean by 'cope with'. If you ask me can we go all the way in Champions League and Premier League, I think it's very difficult.
"Our squad is quite short. On top of that, two of our players can't play in the Champions League because they are cup-tied. So I don't think we have a huge squad in terms of numbers and experience to cope. It depends on what you mean by cope.
"To play and do our best, make the quarter-finals, yes. We have to cope with 20 top players ready to change from match to match, making six changes maybe after a Champions League game, we don't have that."
Chelsea will take on Aston Villa on away turf this weekend.
