John Obi-Mikel has become the latest player at Chelsea to express his frustration over a lack of playing time.
The 24-year-old has lost his holding midfield place to Oriol Romeu since the 2-1 defeat to Liverpool in November.
However, the Nigerian has said that he understands the team always comes first.
"It has been hard, but the most important thing is that the team keep doing well," said Mikel.
"As much as I want to play, the team come first.
"If the team keep winning, then I shouldn't complain. Any time I am called upon, I just want to help the team win."
Chelsea travel to Tottenham on Thursday for a top-four clash.
