Chelsea winger Juan Mata says that the Blues will work hard to bring either the Champions League or Premier League title to Stamford Bridge this season.

Chelsea winger Juan Mata is confident that the Blues will bring more silverware to Stamford Bridge this season.

The Spain international has outlined the West London club's aims to add to their trophy cabinet following the acquisition of the Champions League and FA Cup last season.

"I feel really good and confident for the new season. I think it will be a good one for us," Mata told Chelsea TV.

"For sure, our desire is to win another trophy, either the Premier League or Champions League. These competitions are very important for us and we will try to do our best."

Chelsea begin their new campaign with a trip to Wigan Athletic on August 18.
