Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata hails his first "incredible" season with the club but believes that the Blues should be on the hunt for more glory next season.

Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata has claimed that he is hungry to build on the club's success next season.

The Blues managed to clinch the FA Cup trophy as well as the coveted Champions League, but Mata has insisted that the London outfit should strive for more.

"My focus is to continue improving," said Mata. "You cannot rest on what you have achieved, you must look to the future and hope for more success.

"Lifting the Champions League was an unbelievable experience - the biggest club trophy you can win - and, for me, winning the Player of the Year trophy makes me feel very happy, proud and grateful.

"I could never have expected my first season to go this well. To win the FA Cup, the Champions League and the Chelsea Player of the Year, it is incredible and I am so happy, but I want more."

The former English champions have yet to announce whether Roberto Di Matteo will be at the helm of Stamford Bridge next season.
