Chelsea defender David Luiz has admitted that he would like the opportunity to add to his free kick tally after scoring against Nordsjaelland on Tuesday night.
The 25-year-old scored from a 25-yard set piece as Chelsea recorded a 4-0 victory against their Danish opponents and the Brazilian centre-back has insisted that he has the confidence to be able to score more long-range goals - if he can wrestle the ball off Juan Mata and Frank Lampard.
Luiz told The Mirror: "I will try to take more free kicks. In Denmark, I had a great place for a shot, but we have Mata and Frank and every day we just do it in training.
"Sometimes they give me the ball and I had the confidence to take the ball and just shoot. If you have confidence to shoot, you can shoot."
Luiz has now scored six goals in 61 Chelsea appearances.
