Salomon Kalou linked with Tottenham switch

Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou has been linked with a summer switch to Tottenham Hotspur.

The 26-year-old Ivory Coast star is out of contract in the summer, and could leave Stamford Bridge on a free transfer.

According to the Daily Mail, Kalou is giving serious thought to the White Hart Lane switch, but Chelsea are hoping to re-open contract talks with the player in the coming weeks.

Kalou struggled to hold down a place in the Chelsea side under former manager Andre Villas-Boas, but has featured more under interim boss Roberto Di Matteo.

His recent performances are also rumoured to have attracted the attention of Italian giants AC Milan.
