Branislav Ivanovic: Roberto Di Matteo deserves Chelsea job

Branislav Ivanovic has claimed that interim coach Roberto Di Matteo deserves the Chelsea job full time.

The Italian has guided the Blues to the FA Cup and Champions League finals in recent weeks after he replaced the sacked Andre Villas-Boas in March.

"In football it's very difficult to look far in the future but at the moment and for the last two months if you ask us, we'll tell you he is our manager and he deserves this job," said Ivanovic.

"He is a great manager and we enjoy working with him. If we win these two finals, I hope he will stay with us, but I also hope it doesn't matter on these results."

Chelsea continue their Premier League campaign on Sunday when they host Queens Park Rangers at Stamford Bridge.
