Eden Hazard says that he will have to work hard to force his way into Chelsea's first team after completing a £32m deal from Lille last month.

Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard has insisted that he is fully aware that he will not be able to walk into the Blues' first team with ease.

The 21-year-old was constantly in the headlines last month after sparking a bidding war between Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea.

The Belgium international took his time before announcing that he was to join the Champions League winners from Lille.

"I am completely aware that I am going to have to fight for my place, I can't take anything for granted," Hazard told the club's official magazine. "However, ultimately, I think this is a club where I can have a lot of success and win trophies."

The player is believed to have cost Chelsea in the region of £32m.
