Eden Hazard: 'Chelsea must replicate Burnley performance'

Eden Hazard wants to see Chelsea maintain their current performance levels throughout the season after seeing off Burnley with ease to make it three wins from three.

Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard has told his teammates to push on from where they left off after the international break following their impressive 3-0 win over Burnley.

The Blues were on top throughout at Stamford Bridge, scoring three goals and - just as importantly, according to Hazard - keeping a clean sheet at the other end.

With nine points from nine now on the board, plus an EFL Cup win over Bristol Rovers, the Belgium international insists that Chelsea must not drop their performance levels for the remainder of the campaign.

"We created a lot of chances and scored three beautiful goals," he told the club's official website. "There is no doubt we deserved to win and we want to play like that in every game.

"In front of the fans it's always good to score goals, we could have scored more but three isn't bad. For the defence and everybody [clean sheets] are also important.

"The manager spoke about it before the game - for the last 13 matches we've conceded a goal so a clean sheet is always good for the confidence. It's a lot easier to win when you don't concede a goal."

Hazard has himself made an impressive personal start to the season, following a hugely underwhelming 2015-16, as he has two goals in his first three outings this term.
