Graham Potter is reportedly set to earn £60m across the course of his five-year contract with Chelsea after being named the club's new head coach.

New Chelsea boss Graham Potter is reportedly expected to earn £60m in his time with the club.

The 47-year-old left Brighton & Hove Albion following a three-year spell to replace Thomas Tuchel as the Chelsea head coach.

The Blues were believed to have paid £15m to Brighton to secure the services of Potter, who has signed a five-year deal with the club.

According to the Daily Mail, Potter will receive £12m a year which would result in the Englishman earning £60m if he stays the full term of his contract.

As well as taking on the role as Chelsea boss, Potter is also expected to assist the club in choosing a new sporting director.

Potter will take charge of his first game in charge of the Blues on Wednesday, with his side set to welcome Red Bull Salzburg to Stamford Bridge.
