Chelsea team doctor Eva Carneiro yet to return to the club

Chelsea team doctor Eva Carneiro is reportedly yet to return to the club after being demoted by manager Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese coach publicly criticised Carneiro and physio Jon Fearn after the pair ran onto the pitch to treat Eden Hazard while the team were down to 10 men in a 2-2 draw against Swansea City last month.

Since then, Carneiro has not been part of the matchday staff and she is yet to return to work as she continues discussions with her lawyers, according to BBC Sport.

Mourinho has so far stood by his comments that the pair were "impulsive and naive" to treat Hazard at that point in the match.

The treatment of Carneiro will be discussed by world governing body FIFA on September 11.
