Eden Hazard: 'Antonio Conte is a top manager'

Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard says that Antonio Conte has returned the feel-good factor to Stamford Bridge.

Eden Hazard has branded new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte "a top manager" and a "top guy" and claimed that the Blues players want to "give everything" for the Italian.

Chelsea had a disastrous 2015-16 campaign as they finished down in 10th position during what was a miserable defence of their Premier League title.

However, Hazard has revealed that there is now a better atmosphere at Stamford Bridge due to the presence of Conte, whose "passion" has rubbed off on the players at the London club.

"He's a top guy, he tries to speak a lot with the players, to talk a lot, and we are pleased to work with him," Hazard told Chelsea TV. "He has the passion to do his job. He gives everything on the bench and we try to give everything on the pitch.

"He's a top manager, he's a top man. During games I try to stay focused, but sometimes when I watch the game the day after [on television] I see him. He's a little bit crazy sometimes on the bench."

Chelsea will attempt to bounce back from Friday's 2-1 defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League when they visit Leicester City in the third round of the League Cup on Tuesday night.
