Roberto Di Matteo claims that Chelsea didn't do enough to finish in the top four this season.

Roberto Di Matteo has said that Chelsea didn't do enough to finish in the top four places in the Premier League this season.

The Blues boss, whose side welcome Blackburn Rovers to Stamford Bridge in the final game of the season, steered the club to a total of 12 wins in 19 games in charge. However, he insists that the time to discuss his future is not now.

"It's proven a difficult season for us," he said.

"We just haven't won enough games to get the points needed to finish in the top four.

"At the end of the season, or after the last game, the people at the club will sit down together and make the right decisions for the future of the club. But it's not something to discuss now."

Chelsea beat Blackburn 1-0 at Ewood Park earlier this season.
