Chelsea boss Antonio Conte: 'Eden Hazard can improve a lot'

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte says that Eden Hazard can "improve a lot", despite putting in an impressive performance against West Ham United.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has insisted that Eden Hazard can "improve a lot", despite the playmaker putting in a man-of-the-match display against West Ham United this evening.

The Belgian, who struggled for form last season, was heavily involved in the Blues' attacking waves and scored a penalty in the 2-1 triumph.

"Eden played a good game today with a great ability," Conte told Sky Sports News. "Hazard, Willian are players with great attitude with the other players. I am very pleased with Hazard's performance but he knows he can improve a lot.

"I think the team played a good game with a great intensity and spirit. It is important to find the right spirit and intensity, we know we can improve and we must improve a lot, but today I am pleased for my players.

"The victory is deserved and now we have to prepare for the next game. From tomorrow we have to think to the next game."

James Collins found an equaliser for West Ham, but Diego Costa nabbed an 89th-minute winner.
