Antonio Conte challenges his Chelsea so kill off more games after a narrow victory against Sunderland.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has said that his team need to learn to kill games off, despite registering a 10th successive win.

The Blues will be top of the Premier League at Christmas after they beat Sunderland 1-0 at the Stadium of Light thanks to a solitary Cesc Fabregas goal.

However, Conte has said that he is looking for further improvements from his team over the coming weeks.

He is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "When you have the possibility to kill the game you must kill the game. We had this possibility but we didn't and at the end [Thibaut] Courtois made a good save.

"It was good, it is important for the future because today we didn't pay but when you have the possibility to kill the game you must kill the game. I hope in the future we can improve.

"I prefer my players not to look at the table and to focus on the next game in three days. We must prepare very well to have a good Christmas."

Chelsea travel to London rivals Crystal Palace on Saturday.
