Chelsea's 'pursuit of Antonio Candreva boosted as Inter Milan choose replacement'

Chelsea 'boosted in Candreva pursuit'

Chelsea's chances of signing Inter Milan winger Antonio Candreva have reportedly increased after the Italian club began searching for a replacement.

Blues manager Antonio Conte is looking to bolster his options on the right side of the field, in the hope of providing competition for Victor Moses.

The Serie A giants are said to be keen on landing Lazio's Keita Balde, which would free up a possible move for £23m-rated Candreva, according to The Mirror.

Conte has had his eye on the 30-year-old for some time having attempted to bring the winger to Stamford Bridge in January, but a deal failed to materialise.

Candreva has only been at Inter for a year following his 2016 switch from Lazio.
